How to Integrate X-Cart With ProProfs Live Chat

 

Build a delightful experience for your eCommerce shoppers with ProProfs Live Chat for X-Cart. Help your prospects get answers to their questions related to product details and availability instantly by adding a live chat to your X-Cart website.

 

Here's how to integrate Live Chat with X-Cart:

 

Step 1: On your ProProfs Live Chat dashboard, go to Settings >> Installation and copy the Live Chat installation code.

Step 2: Log in to your X-Cart admin panel. Then go to Look & Feel >> Edited Templates. Any template that you edit appears here. If there is no edited template here, go to the Template Editor as instructed in the screenshot below.

Step 3: Go to the Template editor and open a file editing where you want to embed the ProProfs Chat code. If you want, you can paste the Live Chat code here as well. In that case, you can skip the steps 3.1 and 3.2. When you're done making changes to the file, save it.

Step 3.1: Once you've edited the file, it can be seen under the Edited Templates section.

Step 3.2: Paste the Live Chat installation code and save.

 

Embed the Live Chat code

 

Go to your store and the ProProfs Live Chat can be seen there.
